                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF SOUTH CREST ROAD ON
                   SATURDAY, AUGUST 28, 1993, FROM 2:00 P.M. TO
                   9:00 P.M. FOR THE "RHYTHM ON THE RIDGE,"
                   UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of South Crest Road from Rosemont Drive to the
       south end of the Crest Road Bridge over I-24 on Saturday, August
       28, 1993, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the "Rhythm on the
       Ridge," provided that the sponsors shall set out and pick up all
       traffic control signs and cones in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an
       access lane for emergency and residents' vehicles.
